Meet Judith
Judith Baker, MBA, MIT, and US Army Retired, is an award-winning and well-respected servant leader. Her expertise comes from a combination of career experience as a musician, the military, state government, higher education, and global corporate companies.
Music
Classically trained by the iconic legend Joanne Drayton, Judith studied music under a vocal scholarship and wrote her first song at age 14. Her vocal talents, charm and comfort with a crowd led her to become a two-time, local runner-up in the Miss America Pageant franchise. Recognized as a “best vocalist” of Adrian County, Michigan, she has toured globally with different groups including the award-winning Jackson College “Starfleet Ambassadors,” the Grammy nominated “Melodies of Praise,” the “Singing Messengers,” the “USO,” and the “Army Soldier Show” where she was selected as one of 15 vocalists from over 10,000 auditions.
For ten years she toured as a solo Christian artist spanning 30 states and 5 countries. Some of the more notable places she has performed include the Dickson TN County Fair, the SC Carolina Coastal Fair, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, National Quartet Convention, Gospel Music Week, for the Mayor of Tokyo, and on 38 global military bases. Judith eventually came off the road to focus more on producing music and speaking at local events.
Today, Judith sings at an occasional event and often appears as an actress and model in print, film, and TV. As an independent artist, she writes, arranges, and produces her own original music for placement in film and TV and releases it publicly. You can find her music on your favorite streaming platform.
Speaking
Judith’s speaking experience begin in her High School Health class when she challenged her teacher who had misspoken in his lecture. He dared her to teach the class if “she thought it was so easy.” Judith accepted the challenge and as they say “killed it.” What a great lesson in developing a leader for her. This experience was the catalyst to launching her love of speaking.
Serving in the military Judith was often called upon as a preventive medicine subject matter expert to deliver massive briefings and lectures on public health. As she increased in rank and responsibility she became a Senior Military Instructor Trainer who prepared new instructors for the podium.
After a career in the military she transitioned into technology in the corporate world helping several organizations by speaking publicly or providing training. To name a few: Asurion, Boise State University (Idaho), Camp Electric, the American Red Cross, the National Safety Council, the State of South Carolina and the State of Tennessee.
Writing
Judith has written 2 books and continues to write blogs. Encouraging and empowering people is her primary motivation and that passion is portrayed in the content she writes.
