Welcome to 2026

Welcome to 2026. It is hard to believe that we are already past the halfway point in this decade. I know it has been a while since I’ve sent out a blog, so I wanted to share an update. Exciting things are happening at LeBaker Music.

New Home State

In the summer of 2024, we left Tennessee behind and relocated to West Texas. A lot of people asked us why and on the surface I am sure it appeared abrupt to those we call family and friends.

The truth is, my husband and I both began having prophetic dreams pointing this way for several years.  As a result, we sincerely believe God sent us here for a purpose.

Since the move, I have taken this time to get settled, regroup, and reorganize the blueprints God has downloaded into me. Ideas I have held on to over the span of many years while I worked full-time. Therefore, along with this move, I have made the decision to change direction and leave the 9-5 with a traditional employer in the rear-view mirror.  I am excited to be in a place where I can tangibly work on these items.

What Have I Been Up to Since Moving

It has already been an amazing journey as we approach year two in Texas. Here is a high level recap…

1. 1. 1. We found an amazing church now our family and are actively engaged in outreach ministries.
      2. In December of 2025, after six months of work, produced a 13 song project for a client. I will share the link once it is released.
      3. Released a cover song originally recorded by Bob Carlise called Somewhere on the Other Side
      4. Wrapping up a 54 episode series of the Bible as History on YouTube
      5. I have all but 1 track completed and ready for vocals for an upcoming Country album later this year.
      6. I am part of a sync license library called “WeGetArtists” and have 6 original songs forwarded which means they are being considered for placement in film and TV productions. I am super excited!

What’s Next?

So what’s next and how can you help? You can always help by praying for me and my family. Another way is adding one of my songs to a playlist on your favorite streaming service or purchasing one of my books. Word of mouth is always the best advertisement and you can help when you tell others how I may be of service, make a referral or recommendation.

I am looking for places to speak and sing in 2026 as a trained and certified John Maxwell Leadership Speaker. Hence, events such as banquets, keynotes, retreats, conferences, business meetings, lunch and learns, brown bags, and other events that are business focused or family friendly.

With music, singing the National Anthem how about for the upcoming 250th celebration of our Nation, filling in for worship leaders on vacation, holiday parties, nursing homes. Anywhere I can be a blessing with my gifts and talents as I navigate running LeBaker Music full time! And naturally, helping me by placing music in film and TV.
